3 weeks....

Just 3 weeks...?

Is it really just 3 weeks since our son Noah was born?
Well - for all of you who like to follow up with the change such a newborn baby makes... here on picture of each of his "weekly birthdays" so far:

Noah - 1 hour old - you have seen lots of pictures already!
What happened:
- I was in the clinic in Starnberg till Saturday what was very good.
- Wolfgang worked, my parents took care of David and Amy - you are heroes!
- On the weekend Wolfgang and the "big kids" participated at our church retreat, and Noah and I tried to settle down at home...

Noah - 1 week old

What happened:
-finally feeling at home at our home
-some struggles with breastfeeding, but great support through a great midwife - everything well now
- Wolfgang has 2 weeks of vacation - a big help!
- a few visitors, lots of wonderful emails and facebook greetings, but also lots of rest what is very needed
- pretty good nights - Noah even slept through one night! Unfortunately it stayed with this one night
- first bath:
it seems to be a "first" of everything again!

- like our first little trip as a family to our park with strawberry cake picnic! I felt soooo exhausted and unfit after walking home.... this is definitely NOT the first time I walked to the park and back in my life... it just felt like that!

Noah - 2 weeks old:

What happened:
-Wolfgang still at home - handling the cooking, the shopping, the big kids etc. pretty well! And I am quite busy with Noah... and catching up on sleep. I think I forgot how interrupted nights are...

- David and Amy in school /preschool ( what gives us some time to catch up on sleep)- but loving every moment they can have with their little brother (and they really do a great job!):

Still... a family with 3 kids is quite something!
- we visited a few friends and got spoiled with good food and nice fellowship.
- Noah receives beautiful gifts and cards from may wonderful people in our lives... we just don´t find the time to write or call and thank you all! So here you go: THANKS SO MUCH!

Noah - 3 weeks old:

- the nights get more difficult... it is not that easy as the books write to get into good rhythm. We hang in there!
- Wolfgang is back at work... quite difficult to handle the lack of sleep and all 3 kids! BUT: we are so blessed with wonderful people - I didn´t have to cook once this week - and everything tasted wonderful! Thanks friends for cooking, babysitting, even coming to help clean! What a blessing!
- first time at church - too loud! But great worship God together and to see all our friends there
- Esther and Israel from Switzerland came to see their godchild last weekend:

"I like to snuggle!"

Are you looking forward to my next adventures? Me too! I will keep you updated!
Yours, Noah (and family)

One hour after the delivery - a very special moment!

Eine Stunde nach der Entbindung im Klinikum Starnberg - ein ganz besonderer Moment!

Now we have three of these precious ones! David and Amy came to visit that very day and are excited about their new brother.
We will keep you updated on our family - but for now we will be busy to get adjusted to each other. Thanks for your love and friendshp from the 5(!) Edeles now!

Edelchen!
